'The 3rd Letter' - Short

There's a new short you've got to check out called The 3rd Letter from Polish visual FX artist Grzegorz 'Greg' Jonkajtys. He posted the entire 15-minute short online via Vimeo, so you can watch it below. "A distinctive dystopian vision where humans utterly depend on bio-mechanical alteration to withstand the deteriorating climate." It has a bit of a 12 Monkeys+Andrew Niccol+Cronenberg kind of vibe to it, hard to describe, but it looks great and was quite entertaining. Highly suggested viewing!

Robb Pratt's Hand-Drawn Animated Short 'Superman Classic'

We know that we're only a few years away from seeing Zack Snyder's Superman: Man of Steel in all of its glory (we hope), but in the meantime, let's step back in time to check out Superman Classic. AnimatorRobb Pratt (Home on the Range, "The Replacements") really loves Superman and decided to direct his own self-animated short called Superman Classic. The footage is also set to music from the old SupermanSaturday matinee serials and he even got John Newton, who played Superboy in the 1980s TV series, to voice Clark Kent. It's a quick watch and so fun to see, so check out Pratt's animated Superman short below.
